  • A Dialogue about Eradicate Illiteracy

Illiteracy is one of the serious problems of Bangladesh. Now, write a dialogue between you as Sadia & your friend Munni about “How to eradicate the illiteracy problem from Bangladesh”.

Sadia                    : Hi Munni, Good Morning, how are you?
Munni                   : Good Morning, I’m fine. And you?
Sadia                     : I’m also okay but I’m thinking about a big problem of my beloved country.
Munni                   : What you are thinking of?
Sadia                     : You are also aware and the problem is illiteracy problem of my country. What’s your opinion?
Munni                   : Yes. It is big problem as well as a curse for the country.
    Sadia                     : How is it?
Munni                   : Because without education no nation can develop themselves & they can create any problem.
Sadia                     : What do you think about our duty to eradicate illiteracy from our beloved nation?
Munni                   : We have to be educated our own self & have to teach the illiterate.
Sadia                     : We also need to create people’s awareness so that they send their
    children to school.
Munni                   : Yes, of course. It’s the key factor. Our government has already taken
    some steps to remove illiteracy.
Sadia                     : We have individual duties and We must co-operate with the govt. And Beside this, we need to promote gono shikkha karjokrom throughout the county.
Munni                   : Yes, we must come forward in this regard.
Sadia                     : A large number of people are very poor in our society. They are
unwilling to send their children to school owing to poverty.
Munni                   :  Indeed! It’s quite so. To encourage the poor people government has started ‘Food for Education’ program so that poor people are encouraged to send their
    children to school.
Sadia                     : Yes, it is one of the important steps.
Munni                   : But the government alone cannot solve the problem. Every educated person
including students must come forward to educate the illiterate.
Sadia                     : Certainly. To make this program successful we have to cooperate each other & need a follow-up regularly.
Munni                   : If we are sincere in our words and deeds, nothing is impossible.
Sadia                     : That’s right. We will talk again regarding the progress on this topic and our activities. Thank you.
Munni                   : You are welcome. Have a nice day.
